A Massive CONGRATULATIONS to the Eco-Committee for achieving their 2nd Green Flag. On Wednesday 12th February our school had their second Green Flag assessment. The Eco-Committee did a thorough job informing the Eco-Assessor of our targets and achievments throughout the school. She was particularly impressed by our power point!

Our Eco-team organise a Golden Bin rota in school. The first person they see putting rubbish in the bin receives a Bin Croc.

Each week we award a pupil with a 100 point Eco-Croc. This is acieved by picking up litter or helping any member of the Eco-Committee.

On Saturday 20th September, parents and pupils of Aviemore Primary helped to weed and dig out a raised bed to enable us to put in a pre-formed pond.
This is an on-going project and we hope to establish a bog habitat to faciliate science and topic lessons.

Thank you to the Hilton for their generous grant. With their money we were able to purchase a wonderful pre-formed pond. In the near future our pupils will be able to participate in pond dipping sessions and explore pond life.
